Welcome to the MRA Celebration Series!
This series is a NON-COMPETITIVE series open to MRA members and non-members alike. It’s designed to encourage everyone to become active on a regular basis. Current MRA members can join the Series FREE OF CHARGE, while non-members pay a nominal fee of $15 + GST. Another good reason to become a member!
All ages of runners, walkers, and wheelers (wheelchair) are invited to take part in an 10 month long challenge to start exercising regularly, from January to October (runs can be submitted retroactively). Each run, walk or wheel is worth points and everyone that earns 50 points will be awarded a unique, custom-designed medal! Families can get out together and log their exercise on one app. All you need to get started is to register here:

Types of Runs that can Earn You Points:
- MRA Sanctioned Events: A minimum of three TIMED events are required to earn a medal. Results for untimed distances shorter than 5k (for Youth) can be emailed to [email protected]. A list of eligible events can be found below. Click on the name of the event for more information and a link to registration. You can also download the 2024 MRA Adult or Youth Celebration Series Calendar (see below).
- You can do as many of these as you wish; we will record them from the event’s posted results.
- Virtual Training Activities: These are weekly runs, walks or wheels (wheelchair) that you can record for points, including sessions that you do on your own or events not on the Calendar. Only one can be recorded per week, on the app of your choice.

How to Earn Your 50 Points:
Weekly virtual training activities: 2 points each
In-Person MRA events inside the Perimeter Hwy: 3 points each
In-Person MRA events outside the Perimeter Hwy: 4 points each
Minimum distance for Adults 17+ is 5k.
Minimum distance for Youth 16 and under is 1k.
Age calculated as of January 1, 2024.
How Many Points do I Have?
Points will be updated at the end of each month and will be posted here. They will include a breakdown of how close you are getting to earning a medal!
